My sourdough journey has had some interesting highs and lows, but I recently took an in-person class with my ladies group from church and it has had a great effect on my loaves. Even the boys like to eat them and my oldest said “it doesn’t taste like dirt anymore!” Which is his version of the sour taste. Infrastructure for the new pottage garden is happening. What was once a pool, now has water lines and key points for spigots. Next up is prepping and setting the fire pit and plumbing in the waterline for the new outdoor bathroom that will be on our wishlist for a while. We will get the waterline set so we can hook everything back up and get the new chicken coop roughed in.

Chopstick and Ramen 🍜 were not amused with me this morning that I took them to the vet and they came back missing something. I can imagine their inner monologue…. “We kill three rats in the past two days for you and THIS is how you repay us?!”
My doormats have seen so much guts and gore since these two arrived almost a year ago. The vet techs were amazed at their chill demeanors even though they weren’t fixed yet and were technically outdoor cats. I told them if they saw how my oldest conditions them with scare tactics, rough play, and then cuddles them endlessly, they would understand. #nokittensforthem #nomoretroublepuffs #chillbrothersforlife

Spring into Reading visit to The Galloway Family Farm was so enlightening and peaceful. This lovely family opens their home to visitors to learn about growing your own food and using every inch of your space to create a healing environment. My truck is loaded down with tired kiddos and lots of plants for my garden. We will be visiting more in the near future. It is priceless to find a mentor in your own community. And @wowbookandtoy is such a great asset to our community as well, with her focus on multicultural books. We had such a great time. @gallowayfamilyfarm

Ladies Night Spring Equinox Picnic at the Pier

Join us as we welcome in the new season at The Lonely Jack Farm in Woolmarket, Mississippi. We will be set up on the pier overlooking a beautiful pond during the sunset.
